About the product

What is CalPilot?

CalPilot is a service that syncs any iCal or webcal subscription — including GameChanger, TeamSnap, SportsEngine, school calendars, and church calendars — into your Google Calendar with custom labels and hourly updates.

What CalPilot does

Reads any iCal feed

Point CalPilot at any subscribe link (ICS or webcal URL) from a team app, school portal, church platform, or community calendar.

Writes editable events

Each event lands in your Google Calendar as a native, editable event — with your label prefix, your color, your drive-time padding.

Refreshes hourly, not daily

Plain Google subscriptions can take 12–24 hours to refresh. CalPilot can pull updates as often as every hour, so a rain-out hits your calendar in minutes, not next morning.

CalPilot is not…

CalPilot at mycalpilot.com is an independent calendar-sync service for Google Calendar. It is not affiliated with any of these similarly-named products or organizations:

  • California Pilots Association (calpilots.org) — an aviation non-profit founded in 1949.
  • calpilot.ai — an unrelated private SLM (Small Language Model) appliance product.
  • Nortel CalPilot — a legacy enterprise voicemail system.
  • Calendar Copilot / OneCal / CalendarBridge / Cal.com / Cal.ai — separate calendar and scheduling products.

Frequently asked questions

What is CalPilot?

CalPilot is a web service that syncs any iCal or webcal subscription — such as GameChanger, TeamSnap, SportsEngine, Planning Center, or a school district calendar — into your Google Calendar. Unlike a plain Google Calendar subscription, CalPilot creates native events you can label, color, filter, and edit, and it refreshes as often as every hour instead of waiting 12–24 hours.

Who is CalPilot for?

CalPilot is built for families and small communities that juggle multiple calendar sources: youth-sports parents (multiple kids, multiple teams, multiple apps), church and congregation members, parents of school-age kids, HOA and neighborhood members, concert and event fans, and students or university staff.

What calendars does CalPilot support?

Any calendar with a public subscribe link (ICS or webcal URL). That includes GameChanger, TeamSnap, SportsEngine, ArbiterSports, Planning Center, ChurchSuite, school district calendars, university calendars, HOA platforms, venue calendars, and any custom iCal feed.

How is CalPilot different from subscribing to a calendar directly in Google Calendar?

A direct subscription is read-only and refreshes on Google's schedule, which can take 12–24 hours. CalPilot writes each event into your Google Calendar as a native event you own, with your own label prefix (for example "[⚾ Jonah]"), drive-time padding, and refresh as often as every hour.

Is CalPilot affiliated with the California Pilots Association, calpilot.ai, or Nortel CalPilot?

No. CalPilot at mycalpilot.com is an independent calendar-sync service for Google Calendar and is not affiliated with the California Pilots Association (calpilots.org, an aviation non-profit), calpilot.ai (an unrelated AI/SLM appliance product), or Nortel CalPilot (a legacy voicemail system).

Is CalPilot free?

Yes — the Economy plan is free forever with one sync and daily updates. Premium Economy ($5.99/mo) adds up to 10 syncs and hourly updates; First Class ($8.99/mo) is unlimited syncs and all features.

Does CalPilot read my existing Google Calendar events?

No. CalPilot only reads and writes events it has created itself. It never touches events created by you or by anything else, and it never trains AI on your data or sells it.
