Google refreshes calendars added via "Add by URL" on its own schedule — typically every 12–24 hours, and you can't force a refresh. That's why a rained-out game can still show as ON in Google Calendar hours after the coach canceled it. CalPilot re-checks your feeds on your schedule instead: daily on the free Economy plan, hourly on Premium Economy, and every 5 minutes on First Class.
It probably is updating — just slowly. Google Calendar only re-fetches subscribed iCal feeds every 12–24 hours, and there's no button to refresh on demand. If you need schedule changes to show up quickly (tournaments, rainouts, rescheduled practices), the fix is to stop relying on Google's refresh cycle: CalPilot reads the same feed and writes the events into your primary Google Calendar, re-checking as often as every 5 minutes on First Class.
