Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using CalPilot. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About CalPilot

CalPilot is a web-based service at mycalpilot.com that syncs youth sports schedules from platforms such as GameChanger and TeamSnap to your Google Calendar. CalPilot is independent and not affiliated with Google, GameChanger, TeamSnap, or any other third-party service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use CalPilot. By using the service you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account registration

You sign in using your Google account, authorizing CalPilot to read and write events on the Google Calendars you select. You are responsible for the security of your Google account. CalPilot is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscription and payment

Billing: Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis via Stripe at the rate shown at checkout.
Cancellation: Cancel anytime in your account settings. Access continues until the end of the billing period. No pro-rated refunds, except where required by law.
Price changes: We will provide at least 14 days notice of pricing changes. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
Payment failures: Access to paid features may be restricted until outstanding payments are resolved.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use CalPilot to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Access or attempt to access other users' accounts
Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from CalPilot
Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
Circumvent usage limits or access controls
Scrape or systematically harvest data from CalPilot

6. Third-party services

CalPilot relies on Google Calendar, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, and sports schedule platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. CalPilot is not responsible for disruptions caused by third-party API changes by GameChanger, TeamSnap, or similar platforms.

7. Intellectual property

CalPilot and its logo, design, and code are the intellectual property of CalPilot. You retain all rights to your own data. By using CalPilot, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

CalPilot is provided as-is and as-available without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that syncs will always be accurate or complete, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Sports schedule data from third-party sources may be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalPilot shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including missed events or data loss. CalPilot's total liability shall not exceed the greater of the fees you paid in the prior 12 months or $50 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CalPilot from claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use CalPilot ceases immediately.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms with notice posted on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
